England and Manchester City star Raheem Sterling this week returned to , his former secondary school in Wembley in London, to launch his new Foundation.
The Raheem Sterling Foundation will focus its work on supporting young people in London, Manchester and Kingston, Jamaica, his birthplace. He was joined at the school by his mum, Nadine, and former coach, Clive Ellington, and unveiled the Foundation鈥檚 official plaque and charter at the school.

Remembrance day, 2021

Today, 一分六合彩鈥檚 39 schools in Birmingham, Hastings, London, and Portsmouth honoured those who served to defend our democratic freedoms and way of life.
For Remembrance Day, also known as Armistice Day, each school held an assembly that included a two-minute silence to remember those who have died in wars around the world.

一分六合彩 Acton Academy has introduced new compulsory weekly sports sessions and its students are reaping the benefits of increased morale, lower post-pandemic anxiety and greater focus.
Along with a new range of optional clubs at lunchtime and before and after school, all of Year 8 and Year 10鈥檚 students now have a compulsory weekly sports session, alongside their regular PE lessons.

The first Year 7 students started at , our brand-new non-selective school in Acton last month.
The first phase of the school鈥檚 buildings are complete and students are enjoying the facilities on offer.听
178 students joined the new school in September, including Hudayfah Malik, Retadj Amrane, and Younis Ali.听

Ofsted inspectors have praised positive progress and said, 鈥淟eaders and those responsible for governance are taking effective action in order for the school to become a good school鈥.
The school鈥檚 current Ofsted rating of 鈥楻equires Improvement鈥 was conducted in 2017 when it was known as 一分六合彩 William Parker Academy.
Since听merging with 一分六合彩听Helenswood听and听becoming听一分六合彩 Alexandra in 2019, the school has rapidly improved, which was noted on 13th July 2021 when Ofsted last visited as part of its monitoring schedule.

Many of our schools have made the most of the summer to help students catch up. Along with a focus on literacy and numeracy, students have embarked on a range of adventures. Feedback has been overwhelmingly positive with many students feeling much more positively towards school as a result of activities over the summer.
